Phoenix District Better Block: Activating 36th Street North Beyond the Launch!
Launching on September 8th-9th, the Phoenix District Better Block initiative is not just a two-day transformation but a lasting vision for the community’s future. This community-led placemaking event empowers residents to reimagine 36th Street North and unlock its potential. From fostering pop-up business opportunities to creating comfortable seating areas, shaded spots, and dynamic spaces for community gatherings, the Phoenix District is evolving.
With the combined efforts of Better Block Foundation, Phoenix District Tulsa, Crossover Community Center, George Kaiser Family Foundation, and The City of Tulsa’s Vibrant Neighborhoods Partnership, we are committed to transforming your ideas into reality. Our goal? To make North Tulsa an even more vibrant and lively place for everyone to live, work, and celebrate community ties.
